Brand TTartisan Model 500mm F6.3
When size does matter.
I’m selling a TTArtisan 500mm F6.3 with a Nikon Z mount—a lens for people who think a 70–200mm lens is almost a wide-angle.
At 500mm, this isn’t a lens anymore. It’s a legit telescope with a mount. You can photograph birds, the Moon, rallies, airplanes, and what your neighbor is having for breakfast in another town.
There’s no autofocus. It’s all fair game here—you frame it yourself, you focus it yourself, and then you blame yourself. It works very well on the Nikon Z with focus peaking. Sometimes the bird will be in focus, sometimes a branch, sometimes the air between the two. Life is full of surprises.
F6.3 means it’s no hero in a nightclub, but it works very well during the day. In sunlight, it actually feels like a Nikon that costs 12 thousand.
Full-frame, metal body, 82mm filter thread, 12 aperture blades, minimum focus distance of about 3.3 m, and a tripod mount. There’s almost no electronics, so there’s nothing to break, no firmware to update, and nothing to get upset about.
A good option if you want a 500mm lens but don’t want to sell your camera, your kids’ bikes, and a kidney to buy a genuine Nikon super-telephoto lens.
Everything works, the glass is clean, and it’s in good condition.
I’m selling it because I have more lenses than birds, the Moon, and free time.
Trade only for cash. I won’t trade for a scooter, an Xbox, winter tires, or an “almost new” phone with a spiderweb-covered screen.
